  • Best. Moya. Album. Ever.

    By StephanieJ.
If you only ever buy one of her albums, it should be this one. It's actually a concept album centering on the theme of chasing a harp throughout time--it's for artsy people! It's for Celtic music lovers! It's for people who love beautiful music! It's for dreamers! It's even for those who like dance music! Talk about getting a bang for your buck! If you don't like this album, you need to have your hearing checked.
  • Moya At Her Best

Moya (Maire) Brennan is no stranger to Celtic Music. She has been called the "First Lady Of Celtic Music." Many know her as the Voice of Celtic group Clannad. This album is by far her best album to date. This is a themed album of Moya on a journey in search of the Celtic Harp. It is a rich tapestry of layers. My favorite songs include "Show Me", "Bright Star", "Tara", "Is It Now" and "Ancient Town". But honestly I love the whole album. The crazy thing is that the first time I listened to it, I wasn't a fan. I am so glad that I gave it a chance. This is a must have for any Celtic music fans. It is one of the best albums ever recorded.
  • Fabulous Album

Moya Brennan shows through "Two Horizons" her evolution as an artist over three decades. I have followed her music for over 20 years and I must say that this is her best effort to date.

I didn’t like this album the first 19 (or so) times I listened to it. It was a bit too overproduced. But the 20th time, I caught the drift. Since then, it has been one of my favorite albums. My favorite is “Daughters of the Desert” (though it seems to be referred to as “Mother’s of the Desert” here). Though “Tara” (I think formerly “Crossroads”) is my favorite. Though “River” might be my favorite. Though the finale, “Two Horizons”, might be my favorite as a really great finale. Thought the dance remix version of “Show me the way” might be a favorite for people who like that sort of thing – it is a really fun alternate view of the music. Actually, if you listen to Moya’s Christmas album, you will really be fascinated. Listen to the first verse of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” sung a capella. That’s about as good as it gets.
  • Its fantastic!

The songs flow one into the other resulting in a compilation thats fantastic! I catch my self leaning towards one song as my favorite only to be drawn towards another and then realizing they all are best, together in their order and in an uninterrupted flow. P.S. Her other albums are excellent as well. I to am a follower of Christ Yashua and proud of my sister Moya's accomplishments.
  • Beautiful

I didn't find out about Moya and Clannad until last year, and quickly became hooked. I have to say this is a GREAT album. She's on my favorites list alongside her sister Enya now. She has a new album out but I haven't seen it on itunes, hmmm. Anyway I give this album 5 stars.
  • Exceptional

I've been a huge fan of Marie (Moya) Brennan for many years now through Clannad as well has all of her solo albums. Two Horizons is excellent, and her best solo album yet. All the songs blend exceptionally well together yet each has its own distinctions from the others. Show Me, Ancient Town, Harpsong, Two Horizons and Tara are among my favorite, but all are great!
